The book is a lexicon of the libido, defined by one hundred or so authors, both famous (Ravi Shankar, Antonya Nelson, Phillip Lopate) and not so famous (myself). Oprah has endorsed it,
or at least her magazine has. As well as Nylon, Elle, and Playboy.
The word I was supposed to define was ‘monogamy,’ a word I didn’t understand until my later years. I somehow work in my discovery of my daughter pouring KY all over her hands, clapping frantically and shouting, “Sticky!!”
Anyway, pick up the book. Expand your vocabulary.
