Totally normal. I hate it when mine is sick, but really love it, too, because she’ll snuggle with me on the couch and watch TV. She’s way to active for that when she’s healthy!

When I first started dropping my son off at preschool, he didn’t even look at me. Just ran off and started to play.

Then, after about two weeks, it was like he finally figured out that this all was for real. He was going to be dropped off here everyday. Then he started to bawl and wail whenever I left.

I prefer the anonymous slipping away…like he’s some random kid I picked up off the street and decided to drop here. No attachment, so no goodbye needed. Much better than the echo of “mommmmmmmyyyyyy come back…….I loooooooove yooooooou” in my head all day.
