I had to laugh at this story. I’ll admit, there are nights that I try to skip through parts of our bedtime stories too. Usually I’m so tired by bedtime that I’m already envisioning my own soft pillow! Although once, I checked out a library book that was so bad I think we only read 3 pages! (My son’s only 2, so I can get away with it easier!)

I am pretty sure there is a clause in the parenting handbook that says you are allowed to skip ahead while reading, as well as skipping the he said, she saids. You can also change the ending if it sucks.
