I went to see Mission of Burma a few months ago--total early 80s punk, these guys are now in their late 40s or older--and was blown away. But dude, they were ooooold. I was by far the youngest in the crowd, in my early 30s. Ah well. Glad your husband had a good time! I try to go out to shows whenever I can, but I totally can’t stay out like the good ol’ days.
